However, the demo offers 1-3 hours of gameplay with replayability. I worry that this length might satisfy players enough that they might lose the impulse to purchase the full game. Of course, this might be an unfounded fear, but my instincts still tell me to leave the demo open. As someone who shares the same taste in games as the demo players, I know that the satisfaction of managing a large population isn't experienced in the demo.
That said, I do plan to slightly shorten the time it takes to finish the demo, which currently stretches up to 3 hours. For those who want more, the full version will be available soon. Additionally, I've added a system that allows you to transfer your saved demo games to the full version so you can pick up where you left off without losing progress.
I hope this will satisfy both those who prefer to try before buying and those who want to continue without losing the hours they've invested in the demo.
What's New?
- Snow Coverage Toggle: I’ve added a cosmetic option to toggle snow coverage on and off, as I believe the whiteness from snowfall might be uncomfortable for some players.
- Demo Save Conversion: You can now continue playing your saved demo games in the full version. Additionally, features that were locked in the demo, like raid events in survival mode, can be toggled in the full version when you load your demo save for the first time.
Changes
- Herbalist, Healer's Hut, and School are now locked in the demo.
- Population Limit has been reduced from 60 to the original 50. Given the job slots freed up by the locked buildings, you'll still be able to allocate enough workers to other tasks.
- Bear Caves and Wolf Dens are now disabled in the demo.
Don’t forget to send feedback, report bugs, and recommend the game to your friends. See you in the Early Access release in two weeks!
