- Hardware Cursor: The software cursor I was using moved with some lag compared to the system cursor. This issue was related to how Unreal Engine processes cursor location in the background, causing delays. I resolved the lag by switching from a software cursor to a hardware cursor. The mouse now uses the system's cursor location and is independent of FPS. Since mouse smoothing is no longer necessary, it has been removed from the settings menu.
- Simplified Chinese Translation: Thanks to our friend 流浪猫Starycat from our Discord channel, Simplified Chinese has now been transitioned from machine translation to human translation, following the same process we used for German, French, and Italian. If anyone would like to contribute by proofreading other languages, feel free to reach out to me!
- Pathfinding Optimization: In late-game scenarios where the city is surrounded by walls with all gates closed, FPS drops occurred when villagers had tasks outside the walls (like clearing areas, collecting resources, or constructing roads) due to the pathfinding process. A new algorithm has been developed to eliminate this issue.
