Hello, survivors! We continue to share with you the thermal maps that show the places where your armoured vehicles get destroyed most frequently in the fierce battles in the Wasteland. This time, we’ll analyse the “Control-17”, “Wolf outpost” and “Naukograd” maps.
Only real players are marked on the heat maps with no PS limits. AI activity is not reflected on the maps.
The “Control-17” map and the radio frequency influence
It is interesting that more survivors are attracted to the western part of the map than to the eastern one. It is logical for the players of the lower base to drive west, since this direction is closer to them. But it’s unclear why the players of the opposing team prefer the farthest western side of the battlefield.
Maybe there’s no mystery here and it’s just how things are. Or maybe it has to do with the radio relays that in the past were used by military to block infected cities. Who knows what influence those towers might have on our brains…
The “Wolf outpost” map and all the roads that lead to Rome
What does Rome has to do with this? The heat map shows that the area around the bridge is the most dangerous one, but the problem is: capture point is also there. So the survivors will inevitably find their way there, as the proverb says about Rome. Another peculiarity of the map is that you can capture the point only on top of the bridge. It is useless to hold positions under it.
By the way, this is the first map designed for armoured aircraft in our series of posts. The former military aircraft components factory is a tight battlefield, but it offers intense battles.
The “Naukograd” map and the forgotten technology of our ancestors
Who doesn’t like to climb into hot springs to clean the plating battered in long stormy battles? The survivors clearly don’t mind the SPA procedures in Naukograd. But with great cleaning comes great danger. You can get shot from any direction while you’re in the hot springs, but the hills in the northeast are especially convenient for that.
It’s a shame that the geysers have destroyed the bright beacon of science that illuminated the path of mankind in the old days. Today, the local thermal power station provides the necessary resources for many of the Valley’s inhabitants, making it a prime target to control.
That is all for now. We have many more interesting thermal maps that we will share with you next time. Good luck in battles!
