Subjects,
As Halloween creeps closer, we've been brewing up a cauldron of updates, blending fresh visuals with powerful role buffs. Our top priority, however, has been squashing bugs and fine-tuning the game’s performance—and we'll keep at it.
With Season 4 drawing to a close next week, it’s time to delve into the dark secrets of what’s in store for you.
Halloween Store Update
The Halloween store is now live, including three brand-new skins to haunt the Ritual. These seasonal skins will vanish soon, so seize the chance to claim them before they disappear. We’ve also given the Circus a Halloween makeover, so be on the lookout for the seasonal changes.
In addition, everyone will receive a special Halloween loading screen for free! Don’t miss out on this gift—head over to the store and claim your treat.
Blood Altar Visual Rework
The Blood Altar has undergone a complete visual transformation. Prepare for a whole new look when making your sacrifices to the dark forces that govern the Inbetween.
Role Changes
We’ve heard your feedback and reviewed the data, leading to impactful changes that will keep the roles dynamic and balanced. Here’s a closer look at the key updates:
Chemist
- The Inbetween transition will no longer trigger when players are poisoned, allowing for a smoother experience.
- When an infected player is eliminated, the cooldown for your next poison stack is reduced by 25% of its initial cooldown, ensuring you can return to the fray swiftly.
- A green smoke particle effect now lingers on players succumbing to the Chemist's poison, providing clearer visual feedback.
Soulbound
- The originally assigned Soulbound is now the Soulbound Alpha, taking on a pivotal role in gameplay.
- New Ability: Soulstrike – When both Soulbound partners are near a downed player, the Alpha can activate this ability to instantly banish the downed player through a zap tether from the Soulbound partner. This ability is unlocked once your partner is chosen.
With these changes and more to come, we’re eager to see how you adapt your strategies as we approach the final week of Season 4. Season 5 is on the horizon, so grab your ticket to the Circus of Secrets now...
