The Trading Caravans
Your caravans are the jewels of your clan. With them, you’ll be able to temporarily claim a zone and use it like it is your own. The caravans can be used offensively as an outpost to heal your army (and those of your allies) as well as a defence tower if you have the right knowledge.
The main interest of the caravans remains the capacity to collect resources from the zone they are deployed in. Thanks to your shopkeepers, you can exploit the land even more efficiently, combining your shopkeepers workforce with your specialized workers, or sending them far away to collect resources with a strong bonus gained via knowledge!
With your caravans, you can also trade your entire shopkeepers' production with neutral factions and allies. Useful to gain relations quickly!
The Garrison
If your tile is attacked, you’ll be able to keep your units safe from enemy hands. Hiding in their shells, your units are untouchable and if you order them to get out, they’ll have a defence bonus. A perfect way to plan a counter-attack and crush your rivals!
That said, be careful of not losing your tile, otherwise you’ll also lose all the units hidden in the buildings.
The Warchief
Njord is a singular warchief! While not a strong unit, its potential is revealed in its ability to reduce the price of things in the tile he’s in! Those include:
- Villagers recruitment
- Building Upgrades
- Forging cost
- Etc…
Combat is not his strong suit, but you can still count on him to soak up most of the attacks sent his way! He is useful to divert foes while other clan members do the rest.
