The Visual Update is OUT NOW!
I’ve already given you a little sneak preview of the updated slots, perk machines, and the terrifyingly refreshing new demon designs in last week’s blog. Now, you can finally dive into the new visuals yourselves.
Here’s a list of the changes that you can expect once you boot up Hellbreach:
Upgraded Slot Machine Design: I revamped the slot machines with a more polished look and style that better fits the Vegas theme.
Reworked Perks System: Perks can now be bought at a vending machine rather than from perk cards, providing a more cohesive and immersive experience.
Polished Maps: I enhanced the maps where necessary, with improved models, textures, and overall layout refinements.
Improved Lighting: The lighting has been improved across all maps for better atmosphere and visibility.
Reworked Textures: All textures, including those for enemies, weapons, and environmental assets have been reworked.
Updated Player Select Screen: I’ve revised the player selection interface for some additional polish.
Enhanced Map and Enemy Visibility: The overall visibility of maps and enemies has been improved to make enemy visuals clearer and more distinguishable.
Improved Enemy Damage and Death VFX: I implemented upgraded visual effects for enemy damage and deaths to make them more impactful.
Smoothing of Enemy and Weapon Animations: Enemy and weapon animations are now smoother to improve fluidity in combat.
Overall Optimization for Stable Frame Rates: I’ve enhanced performance across the board to achieve stable frame rates across various setups.
I’m really happy with how this update turned out and I can’t wait to see everybody’s reactions.
