Hello survivors!
We're excited to share another sneak peak of the new game graphics. This time, we’re showing off Midnight Monsoon, which some of you may remember as the first map you got to play in our demos. Ash, the solo developer behind Hellbreach, has been hard at work, and we're excited to hear what you think!
Goal:
When creating the new look, Ash aimed to create a more expansive, more vivid world, capturing the grandeur and vibrancy of real Las Vegas streets. The theme is now more distinctly Vegas-centric, which hopefully aligns better with your expectations. Instead of a post-apocalyptic hellscape, the game now portrays Las Vegas as a neon-lit battlefield, bustling with life but threatened by demons.
Before: The fundamentals
First we’re taking a trip down memory lane before diving into the nitty gritty. The before snapshots capture the essence of Midnight Monsoon. While the visuals were charming in their own right, we knew it was time for a significant upgrade to elevate your gaming journey.
After: Out with the old, in with the new
And now, the moment you've been waiting for – the after! The new, vibrant, glitzy sneak peak that you’ve been waiting for!
Picture this: As you skulk around Vegas, illuminated by the neon glow, demons are lurking in the shadows. You’re out to find food for the night, as you stumble onto that old night-club you used to frequent. The distant hum of the city's nightlife echoes through the streets as you enter. But then… you get jumped! It’s now or never. Shoot your way out. Run, Fight, Survive! Las Vegas has become a neon-lit battlefield once more.
Stay in touch!
This visual overhaul of Midnight Monsoon just marks the beginning of the visual changes. We'll continue to share screenshots as we go, and we’ll listen to your feedback and strive to bring you updates that not only meet but exceed your expectations.
