Dear survivors,
First of all, I want to thank you all for your incredible support during the 1.0 launch of Hellbreach: Vegas. Seeing the full version of the game after months of refining was incredibly satisfying and I can’t begin to express how thankful I am for the community.
I’ve spent hours watching your content and reading your reviews and I figured it was time to introduce the very first post-launch patch, addressing some of your most urgent concerns. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what we’re addressing in this patch:
Patch Notes:
- Steam overlay bug fixed
- Localisation issues fixed
- Jump animation fixed
- Boost machine will always result in a win
- Portals stay closed longer (when shot)
- “Leave game?” confirmation screen added to menu
- Win A Weapon drops are now bound to the player that played the slots: You can share them with another player through melee
- You can no longer steal other players’ drops such as boosts and points, ensuring fair play
- Added Nightmare to scoreboards for improved competition
- Improved visibility for player outlines through walls
- Added visual marker for downed players
- Fixed high FPS visual stutter
- Motion blur now disabled by default
- Reduced effects on motion blur when enabled
- Resolved issue where NVIDIA NIS caused pixelated graphics for some players
- Game will now default to full-screen native resolution on start-up
TL;DR: Quality of life improvements including performance and fair play.
That’s it for this patch! More updates, focussing on long-term improvements for the game, will follow in the future! Thank you again for your support and if you have any extra input, please join the Discord and let me know!
See you,
The Hellbreach team
