Dear survivors,
“What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, so you might as well play the slots!”
As a careful reader, you may have already noticed these lines on our store page. Slot machines are a core element of Hellbreach: Vegas — and they can make or break a run. Will you get a great weapon, a powerful upgrade, or are you gonna gamble away your cash and come out empty-handed? Only the slots can decide your fate.
In this blog, we’ll go over the 5 slot machines in Hellbreach: Vegas and their unique uses. It’s important to know that Vegas is unpredictable, meaning that the slot machines change location every playthrough. That’ll keep you on your toes and make every run feel uniquely challenging.
So, what slot machines do we have in Hellbreach: Vegas?
'Win A Weapon' and sway your faith
Possibly the most notorious slot machine, the Win A Weapon machine is the most RNG-heavy machine in the game. With 11 guns in its arsenal at Early Access launch, it’ll make you adapt your run based on the graces of Lady Luck. This will keep your run unique and make you use different weapons every time. For a never-increasing price of $3.000, this machine will keep you running back.
'Spin A Boost' for a power-up
If you want to conquer an army that increasingly gets stronger, you’ll have to do the same. The core loop of your gameplay is scaling up on pace with, or faster than your enemies. The ‘Spin A Boost’ machine will do just that.
This machine will quickly become part of your routine. It can reward you with up to 30% worth of extra damage each time you pull that lever. Though, it can also leave you disappointed by taking your money and giving you a juicy 0%, meaning you invested a lot and gained a whole lot of nothing. And that for an ever increasing price. It’s a true gamble.
'Rand A Bang' for an explosive back-up
When you start out in Hellbreach: Vegas, you’ll have 3 grenades that will help you out when you’re in a pinch. You’ll quickly realise, though, that they’ll prove quite useless as the round count increases.
The ‘Rand A Bang’ Machine can provide you with various unique grenades to resolve this for you:
- Molotov: Burn, baby, burn. Disco Inferno!
- Ice: Aaaaand freeze! Just like that, everything stands still.
- Vortex: The most convenient way to group your enemies.
- C4: For that tactically timed ‘BOOM’.
'Bag A Prize’ for when you truly feel lucky
You know that feeling. You’re just a few dollars away from that next boost? Don’t worry! Run the ‘Bag A Prize’ Machine and you might just get what you need. Stuff your pockets with a mountain of cash, or experience a gambler's worst nightmare and walk away with nada.
'Pull A Skull' for your cosmetic needs
We know you’ve been eyeing that beanie in the customisation screen. You know the one. The pink one with the pom-pom. Well, you’ll need skulls to get it. LOTS of skulls. Run the ‘Pull A Skull’ Machine to increase your end-game pay-out. Get some extra skulls to quicken your way to that new fresh look. You know what they say: Confidence is Key, and if those sleek ear flaps aren’t the way to confidence, we don’t know what is.
So. Are you ready to play the slots?
Just 6 more days till you’ll find yourselves in an endless battle for Vegas.
See you on the 11th,
The Hellbreach Team
