It's for testing before a patch goes live. So be ready for interesting bugs, unexpected crashes, or funny glitches more than ever ????
But, with this, we can be sure it's working as intended, whether the community likes it or not.
How to activate it?
After right-clicking on Contain from the list, go to Properties > Betas and it should be visible in the Beta Participation list.
Whoever owns the game can participate, no need to do anything else.
What's the difference in this version?
- You will notice that some player character sounds are different and better and also new SFXs have been added.
- We have increased the movement speed of the character for waking, running & sprinting. For now, this causes some animation issues, that can be noticed. Especially on the TPS animations.
- Matchmaking is active. If matchmaking can't find a host to join, it will automatically host a game. Players can't match-join if a session is already in a mission zone.
- VOIP is active.
