GAMEPLAY
- The movement speeds of player characters have been increased. (Community request)
- Walk has changed from 190 to 270
- Run has changed from 400 to 550
- Sprint has changed > Run Speed +50 to +75
- Matchmaking system has been added. (If matchmaking can't find a host to join, it will automatically host a game. Players can't match-join if a session is already in a mission zone.)
- The VOIP system has been added. (Radio sound effects (SFX) will be added in the next patches.)
- It has also become clear that we need to add more information about how to play the game. A tutorial mission is on our list, but we have added informations in the Killhouse to help all players better understand the game.
- We have changed the scope crosshair design. And changed the materials (no more glowy crosshair for scopes)
- After the mission selection mission name is now can be seen under the "DZ Gather warning info" so clients can see what mission selected by the host.
SOUND:
- Current surface sounds have been renewed, and new surface sounds have been added.
- Different footstep sounds now can be heard on different surfaces.
- The player character breath sound has been added. (Community request)
- Player equipment sounds during movement have been added.
AI:
- New AI behaviors have been added.
- Anomaly Soldiers can now crouch while shooting. (Sometimes, and depending on their position.)
- When an allied or closely positioned enemy is under attack, nearby enemies could remain unresponsive. This issue has been fixed.
ANIMATION:
- Death animation with vfx and sound is removed and changed for Anomaly Soldiers. (Community request)
UI:
- We made a full change to the UI; nevertheless, we will continue adjusting based on your feedback.
GENERAL:
- New Languages added (Czech, Russian, Korean, French, Portuguese) (Community request)
We have worked with a game translation agency but still, there could be issues like missing or wrong translations. If there are, please inform us at the discord, thank you.
PS:
The new mission will be available for test on the test branch, we will announce it when we update the branch. Many things in that mission are subject to change which means it's not fully completed yet, there are missing parts and placeholders.
To do that, go to Properties > Betas and it should be visible in the Beta Participation list. As we announced on our Dev Blog, It's for testing before a patch goes live. With this option, we can be sure it's working as intended and whether the community likes it or not.
