Greetings, Commanders!
We previously told you that you will have another chance to play an Open Beta of Men of War II, starting on November 16. and we hope you are excited as we are, as today we'd like to share more details about the new content and features! But first, we have prepared a short trailer to whet your appetite further - let's watch it now, shall we?

We are happy to announce that two of our most requested additions are now included:

[*] A match-making queue has been implemented for the Classic PVP mode, using the Realism game setting.
[*] Matches played through the Lobby system will now also let you progress by unlocking new battalions and collector's units.

On top of that, the amazing team at Best Way have managed to improve the quality of both sound and visual effects and at the same time shorten the loading times when starting a match. You can find a more detailed list of changes at the end of this article.
Besides general gameplay polish and tweaks, we will be also showing you new content:
- There is a new "Officer" PVE game mode, available through the multiplayer lobby. This is a challenging scenario which will test your strategic prowess, as you must skillfully balance offensive and defensive tactics and strive to protect an NPC officer for a given amount of time; if the enemy manages to eliminate him, it's game over.
- You will be able to play on 4 new multiplayer maps we have not shown before, namely Witch's Vale, Village, Champagne and Polesie. 6 more will make a repeat appearance: Borovaya, Winter March, Airfield, Suburb, Bazerville and Farmland.
- We have replaced two of the single-player missions (Ambush and Battle of Coisson) with new ones to grant you a fresh single-player or co-op experience too! As Germans, you can play the mission "Through the Snow" and as Americans, you can prove your mettle in "Convoy".
Mark your calendars, as the Open Beta will arrive on November 16 and run until November 21. It is already possible to sign up via the game's storepage, and it is a simple process:
- You need to head over to the Men of War II Steam page where you will have the option to ‘Request Access’ for a ‘Men of War II Playtest’ - you can do so right now and get an e-mail notification once the beta goes live. Otherwise, clicking the button anytime when the beta is live will grant you instant access.
- If you have already taken part in any of the previous tests, you do not need to sign up again, the ‘Men of War II Playtest’ will simply become available to install/play in your Steam Library once the beta starts.
- Wait and jump into the action on Thursday, November 16!
