What to Expect From Season One -
We are excited for you to try the major updates coming to the game tomorrow. There will be full patch notes when we update. Consider these a preview!
Season One begins August 1st and runs until October 30th, 7pm EDT (90 Days)
Reputation and Ranks system update:
- A separate ranked Q will be available when players reach level 50, and will always be at ultra-max settings
- This is the only Q that will track reputation, and will be using the same systems that are currently in the game (reputation cost to enter a match, reputation gains based on collecting dog tag, etc)
- This will allow the more casual players to still play at ultra-max without worrying about rank. It will also allow us to catch more cheaters before they can have an impact on the ranked matches.
- Collecting enemy dog tags when not in ranked mode will reward players with bonus experience (split among the team)
Updated mission system:
- To accommodate all players better we have redesigned the mission system in several ways:
- Standard missions will have 6 Queues Low, Medium, High, Max, Ultra-Max, and Ultra-Max Ranked. All standard missions are currently set to Trios and will be slightly easier to complete at the lower levels (more escape pods, larger maps, more time)
- The Queues are unlocked at level 1 (low),10 (Medium), 20 (High), 35 (Max),50 (Ultramax), 50 (Ranked Ultramax)
- All Queues will have a MAX gear level that can be used in the mission, and all Queues will be always available to all players that have unlocked them. This will allow players to easily team with the friends to enter lower level Queues and have a fair match, it will also allow players to farm specific gear/components that they may need. The max gear for each Q is the following: Low=Uncommon, Medium=Rare, High=Epic, Max = Legendary, UltraMax = no gear limit.
- Note: this is a per-slot requirement meaning that you may not equip any gear that is a higher rarity than the max gear.
- Specialty missions are a new mission type that will be activated/deactivated at different times and will offer more unique (and more difficult experiences). They will be available at different team sizes, different mission levels, different bot configurations, and different maps.
Updates to Store
- Cosmetic Token bundles will be available in the store for Season One

- Added AI based analysis to our Anti-cheat stack for ongoing improvement of cheat detection
- Added AI measurement and detection for queue manipulation, especially in cases of repeat teaming in Solo game modes.
