Time to stretch those mechanical legs - Update #13 has landed! With it, we’re officially moving from version 0.5xx to 0.6xx. Why the shift? It’s all about the arrival of the shiny new 4th Island! ????️
This isn’t just "another island". It’s our first step into a bolder, more layered world. The 4th Island brings a fresh visual vibe, introduces a whole new vertical structure, and adds some fresh challenges to keep things interesting. It’s the beginning of something bigger, and yes, this island will continue to evolve in upcoming updates.
But that’s not all! We’ve been busy behind the scenes cooking up new features, taking inspiration straight from your feedback. Some of these ideas are already live in this update, while others are planned for future releases as part of the 0.6xx update series. And yes, work on the 5th Island is already in motion. So stay tuned - there’s plenty more to come.

Here’s what we’ve cleaned up to make the world of Driftland more stable and fun:

???? Quest Visibility Bugs – Fixed issues where quests wouldn’t check off when finished, sometimes wouldn’t appear at all, or weren’t visible to co-op partners.
???? Attack from Above – Resolved an issue where attacks from above wouldn’t register as hits.
???? Anchor Spot Animation – Anchor Spots now display their proper building animation.
???? Experimental
- Intuitive Wall and Mana-Pipe BuildingWe’re working on a brand-new system to make building walls and mana pipes faster, more straightforward, and more intuitive. As an early look at this system, you can now hold down the build button to continuously build wall segments one after another. This is an experimental feature, so let us know how it feels!
The 4th Island is just the beginning of the journey into the 0.6.x era of First Dwarf.
