The Paladin has an ability that can assume three different shield stances in combat (when a shield is equipped; inactive against mages):
Neutral Stance
- no effect
- 50% chance to switch to defensive stance
Defensive Stance
- damage reduction: +11%
- 50% chance to switch to offensive stance
Offensive Stance
- damage factor +35%
- 50% chance to switch to neutral stance
Closed Beta Facts
To give you a chance to participate in Closed Beta Tests, we will distribute a code that allows up to 1,000 registrations. First come, first served. Once the limit is reached, it may no longer be possible to sign up on the Beta server. Some personal access codes will be distributed on Twitch and YouTube. Keep your eyes open!
The next Closed Beta will start on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 12 PM (CEST) and will run for 7 days.
With the Closed Beta Test, we want to find out whether the new Paladin class has an appropriate strength compared to the other classes and whether the class needs to be improved in certain areas.
There are no class restrictions in the Closed Beta; the assigned character level is at least 300. The following features are unlocked:
- All enchantments
- All dungeons (not completed)
- Arena Manager
- Stronghold
- Underworld
- Pets, including all habitats
- Full sticker book
The Mushroom Dealer is not available.
Other Adjustments and Improvements
- Warrior will now block damage with a 25% chance instead of up to 25 %.
- For characters who start the beta with at least level 300 the available dungeons will no longer be completed. And the treasury will be upgraded to the maximum.
