Does the Paladin Make the Warrior Obsolete?
Since the introduction of the Paladin class, we have received feedback expressing concerns that the Warrior class has become obsolete. Many players feel that the Paladin is stronger, leaving the Warrior as one of the weakest classes in the game.We are currently exploring ways to enhance the Warrior class to make it more competitive; however, we are encountering several challenges. One significant issue is that the existing classes in dungeons are not straightforward to adjust. Any changes made would impact every dungeon where these classes are encountered.
To effectively improve the Warrior class, we first need to separate the PvE and PvP systems within the game. This separation would allow us to better feature other classes in dungeons, ultimately enriching the gameplay experience for all players.
Comment on Fusion Compensation
The compensation strategy is designed to promote competition and innovation on future fused game worlds. It is grounded on the analysis of competitive characters, with compensation levels at approximately two-thirds of the potential experience (XP) players could earn in a specific period. For gold, the compensation is set at about one-third of the total gold attainable by players, aligning with what a free-to-play (f2p) gamer could accumulate. While multiple formulas could be used to calculate gold from various activities like city guard, gold pit, and expeditions, a single formula based on expeditions has been chosen for its simplicity and lower risk of errors, ensuring the compensated gold amount remains consistent.
