From Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, we will host a closed beta test for 7 days in which we are testing enhancements to the Arcane Toilet feature. The updated feature now offers two distinct functions: item sacrifice and item wash.

Sacrificing an item will increase mana, albeit with diminishing returns for each additional item sacrificed within the same day. As the item is consumed, flushing the toilet will boost your aura level and generate a new item. We have raised the maximum aura level to 1,000. Furthermore, we are introducing 'item quality,' which indicates an item's strength. Flushing the toilet will also enhance item quality.

Washing an item will alter its armor or weapon class. However, this process will remove the selling value, and any upgrades previously applied to weapons will result in a loss of invested resources. The first wash of the day will generate mana at full efficiency.

We understand that reworking an existing feature may not be universally welcomed. Therefore, we are presenting this rework during the closed beta phase. Our aim with this beta is to gauge player reception and determine whether the revamped Arcane Toilet is appreciated as a valuable new gameplay element within Shakes & Fidget. Certainly, we would like to identify any errors or problems that may occur during the test.

After the feature has reached a stage where it meets player expectations, it will be launched. We will ensure that a substantial period of time has elapsed between this release and the most recent Legendary Dungeon.

To give you a chance to participate in Closed Beta Tests, we will distribute a code that allows up to 2,500 registrations. Some personal access codes will be distributed on Twitch.

The closed beta server can only be accessed via Browser but not the Steam client itself.
