Dear Pioneers,
Steam Next Fest has come to an end and we cannot believe that Pioneers of Pagonia hit #7 in the ranking for most played demos! Thank you so much for your support! We are still gathering all of the valuable feedback you have offered on Discord and Steam. All of your positive and kind words really motivate us to keep our pace and spirits high!
To all the late birds, hurry up! The public demo will be taken down on 23rd October 2023 at 2 pm (UTC+2).
We have also read that a few people had issues starting the demo. We highly recommend to join our Discord and write us about your issue in detail. Our community and our devs are very supportive and will try to help you start the game. :)
Last week we were also part of this year's Polaris Convention in Hamburg and had a little booth were the visitors could play the demo of Pagonia. Next to all the amazing Cosplayers it was great to meet a bunch of new people who have not heard of the game at all, but were instantly intrigued and excited for it. Shoutout to all the lovely Polaris people!
Time is running fast! The next milestone is only less than two months away! Early Access is just around the corner and will start on 13th December 2023. We are sooo excited that you are able to visit Pagonia again and this time with a lot more features. Here is our roadmap in detail, if you have not seen it already.
Currently, we are working on combat, different enemy types and map generation. It will be possible to adjust the difficulty level of you map! You are more of the cozy gamer? No problem! You will be able to turn all combat off and concentrate on building that wonderful village of yours. You like more of a challenge? We got you! You can have a bigger number of enemies on your map, making it more difficult to expand your territory as you need to fight bandits and werewolves first.
We would like to end this blog with an announcement: We are so happy to make Pioneers of Pagonia available for a lot of international friends! For Early Access we can confirm a total of 17 languages! Let us know which languages are missing and what we should add for the future. (So far we have Hungarian, Greek and Klingon on the wishlist :D)
Have a lovely autumnal season and see you in Pagonia for Christmas!
