Narrative Tutorial Map
The Explorer asks you for help in the tutorial map.
Starting with our biggest feature for new players! This narrative tutorial map is an introduction to Pagonia for everyone new to it (and hopefully a little interesting for all you old hats, too ;) ), and guides new players through finding their way around core game controls and mechanics. Characters (Pagonians with names!) request your help with getting out of a pickle, teaching you the basics on the way. New buildings are unlocked step by step, allowing you to fully focus on the task at hand: Getting these good folks into a better place.
While this feature focuses on improving the experience for new players, experienced ones are of course also invited to play this map and give us feedback!

Arcane Artifacts
The arcane artifact "Archmage's Hat" in the Treasury.
Just like your military and adventurer units are motivated by wealth, your magical units recruited at the Arcane Academy can be motivated with arcane artifacts. These trinkets and oddities develop their power once they are stored in the Treasury. Arcane artifacts are hidden in treasures and sometimes offered as trades or gifts by your Pagonian neighbors.
Your Warlocks and Sorceresses will thank you for a big collection when you send them into battle against the Malthorn!

Winter Season is here!
Our coziest addition to this update! Enjoy a beautiful range of seasonal details across all maps. Our artists really did great work in transporting that tea-and-blanket feeling to Pagonia. Look out for plenty of baubles, a Christmas market and a limited Winter light setting. We can almost see the chill in the air!

Time-limited Winter map
In addition to the global changes across all maps, we have added a special winter-themed predefined map. Get comfy while helping the neighboring village supply their Winter Whimsy celebrations with delicious Winter bread! But beware of pesky thieves trying to disturb you, and keep an eye on the mountains...something mean seems to hide there.
The map is filled with surprises, cheer and secrets.

Narrative Tutorial Map
- To make it easier for new players to explore the world of Pagonia, there is now a new Tutorial map
- Various characters will help you find your way around quickly
- New building types get unlocked step by step
- Of course, experienced players are also invited to play this map and give us feedback!
Arcane Artifacts
- Wealth motivates all your units recruited in the Military academy and Adventurer’s Guild as before.
- All your magical units recruited in the Arcane Academy can only be strengthened with arcane artifacts.
- Arcane artifacts will develop their power after they have been safely stored in the Treasury. The current combat strength for Warlocks and Sorceresses starts at 100% and is displayed in the top bar upon request.
- Arcane artifacts can be discovered in treasures, are offered by neutral villages in trade or gifts, and rarely are they just lost somewhere on the ground.
Winter Season Map and time-limited Winter Season Changes
- Winter season is here! Get cozy on a seasonal predefined map and help your Pagonian friends celebrate with the wintertime-only sweet bread. But beware, there are those who want to spoil the celebration!
- Winter light setting
- Note that thieves and bandits really like to steal the sweet bread during winter season.
