Discover interesting tips and tricks, learn how to effectively plan the development of your city, and check out how many useful structures you can raise - all this to the glory of a great ruler, such as yourself! ????
...and talk to the community and developers about the game!
To help those in need ????
The spear of a hostile raider, the jaws of a wolf, a fall from a high cliff, a turbulent sea, and storms were just a few of the many dangers that threatened the lives of the ancient Greeks. But sadly - there's more! As civilization developed and larger cities emerged, new threats joined the existing ones. Among them... diseases and plagues ????
Fear not, however, because as a mighty ruler, you can tame most of the deadly threats that endanger your people and save them from harm! Today, we'll take a peek into the medical background of your empire and learn more about how its healthcare system operates. Let's go!
Primary care physician - Healer's House ????
Although the medical knowledge of our ancestors was rather... let's say - underdeveloped, the doctor is still counted among the oldest professions in the world. For centuries, people have tried to help their dear neighbors and ease their pain and suffering. And that's what your town Healer does! People in need of basic medical care are knocking on the door of his house, so the Healer can identify and solve the problem of his patients ❤️ How does he do it?
A great help in Healer's work is his good friend, the Herbalist. Thanks to the herbs grown and properly processed by the Herbalist, Healers can "do their magic" to help those in need ???? These conscientious specialists are the first line of defense against diseases and plagues that, if left unchecked, can decimate your city's population! ???? Don't underestimate the effectiveness and usefulness of the Healer - although its practice is simple, it most often turns out to be very effective.
However, sometimes even a Healer's awesome abilities are not enough. What then?
Pharmacist Workshop ????
Aside from the Healer's House, your subjects can rely on the support of the Clinic. The medical services offered at the Clinic are fairly similar to those provided at the Healer's House, however they can reach a larger number of your people ???? This state of affairs it's not solely due to the presence of more seasoned physicians, but also to the fact, that the Clinic uses more advanced Medicines. And this is where the Pharmacist Workshop comes in handy!
It certainly won't come as a surprise that Pharmacist Workshops are involved in producing precious Medicines. On the other hand, what might astonish you is that despite operating millennia ago, the drug-making process was remarkably sophisticated and efficient. To produce Medicines, you will need a substantial list of ingredients, including Vinegar, Herbs, and Olive Oil ???? Quite an array of components! Furthermore, these ingredients must be consistently supplied to the Pharmacist Workshop to ensure the well-being and health of your population.
Nevertheless, it is an essential investment if you want your Polis to boast hundreds, if not thousands, of residents! ????
In the following parts of the series, we will return with descriptions of many other cool structures that will ensure the safety, well-being, and development of your city. We hope that the buildings presented today will find their place among the streets of your Polis, and that they will contribute to the growth of your magnificent empire! ???? As always - thank you and stay tuned!
