Hello chasers! OUTBRK is one month old ! In this monthly update we’re giving you a recap of this month's patches, what we’re working on currently, and what we have planned long term for Early Access.
THE FIRST MONTH OF UPDATES
- We’ve been hard at work and released 13 updates, patches and hotfixes since we launched. Here are the major changes we made since launch.
- Enabled progression in offline mode.
- Added steering wheel compatibility
- Fixed floating roads and terrain going over roads.
- Added more than 10 new weather scenarios
- Added functionality to car accessories (except camera for now)
- Lots of general bug fixes
- Lots of minor optimization, major optimization on the way.

SERVER STABILITY AND PARTY MATCHMAKING
The current development priority is to fix the server matchmaking issues and the solution is a necessary first step before getting Party Matchmaking; we are fundamentally changing the way our matchmaking works to have a more robust and more expandable system. Good news, that first part is close to being ready, and we’re going to start to test this internally shortly. We’re hopeful to be able to release a major update relatively soon, and that should either immediately improve the matchmaking stability, or give us the required tools to rapidly improve it.
The work on the party matchmaking will start immediately after this server update is completed.
EARLY ACCESS DEVELOPMENT TIMELINE

However, we did this visual timeline to help better communicate our objectives for people that don’t feel like reading hundreds of trello cards that are always changing on a daily basis. Keep in mind that this is subject to change at any point, this is only a visual helper of what are our current plans on this date, Trello is always a better representation of the reality. You’ll be glad to notice that the planned Car Accessories Functionality is already pretty much completed, except the camera that we are still working on!
NEXT STEPS
Right now we’re looking ahead and the future of OUTBRK looks bright. We’re scheduling calls with potential partners to accelerate content developments to have more customisation options for players, better player animations, integrating emotes for better roleplay options, etc. We’re trying to stay lean in our development priorities and do one thing at the time, this is what got us here in the first place, but we also want to surf on the momentum of the launch and keep our strong velocity of content update to keep our players happy and wanting to come back to chase some storms.
