We uploaded a new quality of life patch for Planet Crafter
We took some time to iron some things out, answering your feedbacks as usual, just before we started working on our next big update.
Indeed, we have big things in store for all the terraformers out there! We are working hard on the next piece of content for the game, and can't wait to show it to you.
As this will be a big update, we'll take a bit more time than usual to cook it, but we aim to give you more information soon. In the meantime, be sure to join our Discord server and follow us on all platforms!

Changelog v1.410:
Gameplay
- Improved vehicle physics, acceleration and steering
- Vehicle now automatically discard collisions with small rocks
- Added the ability to open the inventory from the rover
- Logistic menu : Added the ability to remove a group by right-clicking
- Tweaked jetpack physics
- Added the name of containers in auto-crafters tooltips
- Display the container name inside the container UI
- Added an option to disable player idle animations (tool wiping)
- Added an option to disable terra tokens notifications
- Added a new key input to enable/disable auto forward
- Drone logs and warden keys are not destroyed anymore when sent in trade rockets
- Vehicle now reacts to explosions
Technical
- Reduced the size of the build by 3GB (from 7.2GB to 4,2GB)
- Reduced the download size by 1GB (from 3.6GB to 2,6GB)
- Updated font management system to avoid issues with missing characters
- Fixed laggy fog FX on Humble
- Fixed various issues with gamepad manipulation
- Fixed an issue with old saves not being able to be loaded
- Fixed issues with unlocking notifications in multiplayer
- Fixed vehicle wheels not spinning in multiplayer
- Improved physicalized objects management to try to avoid situations with objects stopping while mid air
Balancing
- Drone station, Fusion energy cell, osmium rod, genetic extractor and water life collector unlocks sooner
- Skin displayer unlocks at a later chip unlocking tier
- Added Access Cards to rare loot of procedural wrecks to have chance to get some spare ones
- Added a bit more food in world containers on Humble
- Added a beta notification to the HUD when launching the game from Steam on a non default branch
- Reduced radius of iridium & uranium asteroids landing around the player
- Last terraformation stage ending is now at 4 TTI
- Increased larvae spawn time to have a bit more larvae around player
Misc.
- Added a "back to base" button to the game settings menu allowing to respawn inside a livable module
- Added a saving indicator to the UI
- Added audio on vault door opening in procedural wrecks
- Trade rockets now despawn after some time if stuck on ground
- Fixed an issue with the construction ghost rotation not properly reset when building something with the accessibility key pressed and then opening the construction menu while the ghost is still active
- Fixed an issue displaying the power restored notification each time something is built when using optimizers
- Increased the number of allowed simultaneous sounds to fix issues with sounds being discarded
- Various minor environment fixes on Prime
- Minor terra tokens loot balancing in wreck safes
- Fixed issues with drones not computing correctly their height
- Aquarium T2 correctly set as next tier to aquarium T1
- Portal generator : increased volume on open & close effect.
- Add sound and FX on vehicle recall
