Addressing stuttering that some players experienced:
Initially, we built up the background architecture to stream content from the hard disk as the player explores the world and to save RAM memory. While this helps a lot for players with lower-end machines, we received reports from a few players with high-end machines experiencing stuttering while a new area is loading. This happens because the hard disk can become a bottleneck on high graphic settings in some cases.
With this patch, we added an option for players with high-end machines to use much more RAM, providing smoother gameplay.
To enable this option, go to the graphics menu and enable the "World Preloading" checkbox.
Other Performance:
- Starting areas are now preloaded with a new game, providing a smoother experience from the start.
- Increased world loading speed for players with widescreen monitors.
QoL:
- Added a move command (T by default, but you can change it in the controls screen).
- Clicking "Take all" on loot now closes the inventory.
- Now, when players meet a necromancer for the first time, they will be warned both audibly and visually about the importance of dialogue.
- Added a visual warning icon for enemies that are 20 or more levels higher than the player's level.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed a bug where players could not fight the horde in the arena if sided with the horde as part of the main quest.
- Fixed a bug where an item could be lost when moving it to a full chest container.
