Spectre Locomotion changes
- Spectre hands trace downward to touch object distance: 50cm -> 100cm (This allows you to snap to the object 50cm sooner)
- Spectre hands hitbox to touch object: 6cm sphere -> 20cm (Both hands hitboxes need to be touching the object in order to grab it)
- Spectre reach up height 95cm -> 100cm (pretend you're 200cm tall, if you put your arms in the air you can reach the top of a 205cm wall and climb it)
- NEW: Spectre running reach up height 95cm -> 130cm ( this isn't as big of an increase as it initially seems, due to the way the movement system works, when running you actually had a lower jump velocity then if you were standing still. So if the default was 95cm, you could only reach 85cm when running. You could consider that a bug. Anyway, you can actually have a better chance at reaching a tall object if you're at max speed)
- Spectre Air Control: 0.1 -> 1.0 (This respects momentum, trying to jump around to do sick bullet dodges will most likely get you killed. Often times spectre's were just barely missing the range required to snap onto the wall, If you were running parrellel to a wall you were less likely to wall grab because of being just slightly out of reach. this air control change allows them to push slightly further to reach the wall when in the air, which should result in more successful climbs attempts.
Notes: Currently climbing and latching onto objects don't feel great. A lot of the time you won't latch onto something you felt like you should have, and it feels bad especially when you're being gunned down. These changes should allow for more responsive, reliable latches. you still need to reasonably position yourself, but the system overall will do a much better job letting you do what you were intending to do.
Optimization Changes
General
- Continued to correct/optimize materials throughout game.
- Updated character highlight (now only shows when player is occluded).
- Reduced intensity of character highlight.
- Adjusted the properties of the new glass system.
- fixed the bullet casings texture issue on main menu
- Placed Environment Mod explosive locations across all maps (When you interact with a tablet to breach a door or vent, the explosion is where it's supposed to be and not at the tablet)
- Corrected UI issue where selected weapons in Loadout had white background

- Corrected wonky textures in the Frostbite spawn
- Replaced snow particles (Still having issues on DX11)
- Replaced inefficient particle system in Main building.
