Bug Fixes
- - Players can back out of menus with the Esc Key. Previously you had to click on ‘Return’ to get back to Gameplay from the pause menu.
- - Launching the game whilst under a French operating system/language will now display English text. Previously text tags were shown and the game wasn’t functional.
- - Based on feedback from the first Beta, we have increased the minimum and maximum scales for mouse sensitivity options.
- - The weapon HUD icons and weapon cycling keys now match up. Previously players would cycle through weapons in a different order to the HUD icons.
- - VS AI Replays now correctly show explosion effects.
- - We’ve fixed an issue where players would occasionally maintain momentum/speed from the end of one match into the start of the next.
- - Volume settings for voice and effects have been improved.
- - The Steam VR app will launch whenever Shock Rods is launched.
- - Rarely engine audio will cut out during gameplay.
- - Landing on a vehicles roof can lead to strange physics/forces being applied to the vehicle.
- - If a player spends all of the ammo for a weapon, they will lose the weapon (picking up ‘just’ more ammo won’t let the player re-select the weapon).
Known Issues
- - Customised weapon power order settings will return to default settings when entering a match.
- - Players are not able to matchmake back into a server they have recently quit out of.
- - Whilst in a Party, vehicle selection will be out of sync. The chosen vehicle will be one click behind (so click the vehicle you want to use, then select another vehicle in the UI).
- - Vehicles can get stuck on their roof, unable to correctly in the canyons of the Cliff Fall maps. With enough boosting/fiddling it is possible to become unstuck.
- - Occasionally cars will rock forward and lose momentum as they travel on their front wheels. This seems to be caused by changes in terrain elevation when travelling at speed.
