We have another minor patch for you! We will push it live in around one hour from now, so 10 UTC.
This time the focus was on performance and bugfixes. Client-side performance should have improved significantly on lower end platforms. while server performance also got more stable due to netcode optimizations. There is still more to be done, but we wanted to give you an update now, so the worst performance offenders are already fixed.
We also fixed a number of bugs you guys reported, so find the full changelog below.
Changes:
- Fixing map holes accessible by jetpack or jump boots
- Improved Building netcode performance and reliability
- Fix for gaps between triangle foundations and ceilings
- Fix for bad LODs on lore devices
- Enabled light color customization of T2 and T3 headlights
- Fix for missing focus when going into unconcious while ingame menu is opened (softlock)
- Fixed bug where item slot highlights were missing in the equipment and weapon modules widgets while dragging items.
- Adjusted the threshold for when the health cracks appear
- Fixed incorrect orientation of rifle/sniper muzzle flash. Added separate muzzle flash for sniper rifles.
- Fix for server crash when spawning AIs
- Retroactive fix for completed pinned workorders
- Fix for stick input in menus
- Decreased AI loot protection time.
- Added new meteor ore vfx.
- Inventory and Item netcode fixes
- Adjusted explosive charge description to make it more clear that it is not meant for buildings.
- Improved Server Performance by netcode updates
- Fixed Wieldables not being attached all the time and invisible when they shouldn't
- Fix for grenades causing no impact damage
- Fixed some device interactions failing
- Adjusted networking distance of playermade buildings and devices to increase server and client performance
- Fixed client crashes on all platforms
- Supply trackers can now be used on rock meshes and ice meshes as well (not just sand)
- Fixed helmet headlight not updating light color when changing customization while equipped
- Fix for flickering of context buttons.
- Fix for softlock when dying while ingame menu is open
- Another try to fix the broken supply tracker map texture on consoles.
- Fix for admin terminals and building parts showing wrong timers and protection state
- Fix for Loot All being possible on other player inventories with the hotkey (exploit)
- Big client performance improvement.
- Added more loot and more enemies to second dungeon.
