What a week! We released Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch on Early Access last Tuesday and it’s been such a blast seeing everyone play the game and discuss their strategies and tricks!
As you all know, we released the game on Early Access first so that we can continue to improve and develop the game with our players. And we have to say, our Tacticians did not disappoint! A lot of you have shared your thoughts and suggestions on making the game better and we’ve taken them to heart, which brings us to the new minor update for the game.

Here are the changes within version 0.06.004 that we’ve made to the game:
Content
- Added new enemy illustrations
- Added new event NPC illustrations
Changes / Improvements
- Adjusted movement skills such as “Push” or “Swap Positions” so that players cannot use these skills with objects
- Added a shortcut key "C" to check character info when event dialogue options are displayed to allow for better informed decisions
- Added the ability to view the Expedition Log within the menu while in battle
- Removed shortcut key to always show grid from battle control settings
- Added a damage reduction buff to allies when choosing to stay and fight in certain battle situations [list]
- Players can still toggle the “Show Grid” option within the game settings
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the issue where it was still possible to acquire multiple mythic skills despite owning the Black Vial relic
- Fixed the issue where relics could not be dug up when the Map to Hidden Relics event was triggered more than once
- Fixed the issue where the Tree of Life would drift when placed in rapid currents
- Fixed the issue where the game would freeze when the Greater Blessing of Sword skill triggered to attack two enemies on counter attacks
- Fixed the issue where partnership points were awarded to another ally not within the party, and increased the amount of partnership points (25 -> 50)
- Fixed the issue where the Jeweled Bookmark relic allowed unlimited training within camp
- Fixed the issue where Quick Attack+ was not allowing the intended attack range
- Fixed the issue where the Wraith Guardian relic was applied when an Ice Wall was destroyed
- Fixed the issue where the "Song of Fire and Wind" Steam achievement would be unlocked when the enemy met the conditions
- Fixed the issue of the controller input being on a different screen layer when choosing a skill
- Fixed the issue where the Bernhardt Steam hidden achievement was not unlocked after using an undo
- Fixed the issue where enemies would spawn on top of each other
- Fixed the issue where the game could not be controlled by the gamepad within certain menus
- Fixed the issue where a graphical glitch would appear when rolling the dice in 1280x720 resolution
- Fixed the issue where the Decisive Strike skill would keep all skill cooldowns at 0 for the entirety of a battle
- Fixed the issue where the Conspirator’s Ring relic did not apply the discount if the shop had been accessed prior to obtaining the relic
- Fixed the issue where there were text overlaps and cut offs
- Fixed the improper navigation order on the Setting's Gameplay when playing with controller
- Fixed the issue where some text did not change when changing languages
- Fixed the issue where an incorrect battle indicator icon would sometimes display in the Forked Road
- Fixed the issue where the incorrect number of Sacred Embers was displayed for upgraded versions of lamp items
- Fixed the issue where incorrect surroundings were applied after spending a night at camp
- Fixed conversations where the player character’s gender was not reflected correctly
- Fixed the issue where the in-game achievement for promoting Ashe to the Light Mage would unlock multiple achievements, while promoting Ashe to a different class would not trigger the respective achievement
- Fixed the issue where the pop-up for characters recovering health would show up twice when resting at a campsite
- Fixed the issue where intermittent freezing occurred when previewing a skill during battle
Not only that, with all of our players coming together from day one to share any bugs or issues that they experienced, we were able to quickly hotfix some critical bugs, which saved other Tacticians the trouble of experiencing them!
