▌Hero Updates
Since the start of this year, we've been updating the gameplay design of all heroes so each of them shines with interesting mechanics. In version 2.3, Ember and Lucinda will receive brand-new tactical skills, emphasizing their distinct roles on the battlefield! Additionally, based on the results of the hero balance poll conducted on social media, we have made some balance adjustments to certain heroes.
Lucinda: New Tactical Skill and Balance Adjustments
1. New Tactical Skill - Stellar Serenade
- Changed Lucinda's Tactical Skill from Jet Sweep to Stellar Serenade. Upon casting Stellar Serenade, leaps into the air. If she casts other skills during this time, she briefly hovers as the gravitational field around her shifts.
- While in the air, Lucinda cannot hold or shoot, but can cast her other skills.
- Once these skills are cast, gravity will return to normal, and Lucinda descends as usual. Using this skill, Lucinda can quickly ascend to high platforms or buildings, and better connect with other skills.
- Added a Trait upgrade effect for Stellar Serenade. The upgrade now increases the number of Stellar Serenade charges by 1.
2. Adjusted the Tactical Skill - Incendiary Bomb
- Lucinda can now carry two portable Incendiary Bombs at once.
- Added a Trait upgrade effect for Incendiary Bomb. Lucinda will recover HP when in range of a portable Incendiary Bomb. The HP recovery is nullified if Lucinda is attacked.
3. Adjusted the Ultimate - Absolute Gravity
- Adjusted the mode of effect and gravity strength of Absolute Gravity. Increased the HP of her ult, making it more resilient. To maintain balance, the force of gravity is slightly reduced and its windup time is also increased.
- Added a Trait upgrade effect for Absolute Gravity. Enemy heroes in the range of Absolute Gravity now take damage over time. This means that now only after leveling up does her ult deal initial and continuous damage.
The adjusted Lucinda now has improved mobility and some healing abilities, giving her the capacity to make strategic and aggressive moves.
Ember: New Tactical Skill and Balance Adjustments
1. New Tactical Skill - Phantom Drifter
- Changed Ember's Tactical Skill from Jet Sweep to Phantom Drifter. Ember transforms into a ghostly state. In this state, he still collides with other characters, vehicles, and objects, but will not take any damage or debuff effects.
- Ember will be affected by some forced displacement skills like Beau's or Ducksyde's.
- Upon casting the skill, he immediately loses a certain amount of Shield and gains a speed boost.
- Added a Trait upgrade effect for the Tactical Skill - Phantom Drifter. When in Phantom Drifter form, Ember will recover lost Shield and gain increased Movement Speed while within the range of a Smoke Bomb.
2. Adjusted the Tactical Skill - Smoke Bomb
- Ember can now carry two Smoke Bombs at once.
- Updated Smoke Bomb's visual appearance to better fit Ember's image.
- Ember can no longer see enemies concealed by Smoke Bomb, except when in Phantom Drifter form.
- Adjusted the Trait upgrade effect for Smoke Bomb. The upgrade now increases Smoke Bomb's duration and range.
3. Adjusted the Ultimate - Vision Erosion
- Vision Erosion's visual barrier will no longer take effect immediately upon casting, but will gradually expand from the cast location.
- Added a Trait upgrade effect for Vision Erosion. Enemies who exit Vision Erosion's range will temporarily have their Movement Speed reduced and their locations revealed. Squadmates in Vision Erosion's range will be able to use recovery items more quickly.
- Updated Vision Erosion's visual appearance.
This comprehensive set of changes means that Ember now gains a much more proactive advantage when fighting against opponents within the Smoke, but can still be countered with the right strategy.
Maychelle: Balance Adjustments
1. Adjusted the Tactical Skill - Sonic Tracking
- Sonic Tracking will no longer slow enemies down.
- Added a Trait upgrade effect for Sonic Tracking. Squadmates now gain increased Movement Speed when they move toward a scanned enemy.
- Updated Sonic Tracking's visual appearance.
2. Adjusted the Ultimate - Ongoing Show
- Squadmates now gain improved jumping ability when on the rock stage.
- Reduced the duration of the rock stage.
- Adjusted the jump height when jumping onto the stage.
Ducksyde: Balance Adjustments
1. Adjusted the Ultimate - Summit Crush
- Summit Crush will have a longer jump and descent time.
- Summit Crush's landing range is now divided into an inner circle and an outer circle.
a. Enemies inside the inner circle will receive more damage, and be knocked out of the circle.
b. Enemies inside the outer circle will receive less damage, and a slow effect.
- The warning range will now be correctly displayed on special terrain.
Sunil: Balance Adjustments
1. Adjusted the Ultimate - Hologram Guide
- Increased the range of Hologram Guide's dispel and immunity effects. Hologram Guide can now also dispel and grant immunity to negative effects that slow or expose a Capsuler's location.
- Increased the duration of the immunity effect.
Watchman: Balance Adjustments
1. Adjusted the Tactical Skill - Sheriff's Patrol
- Ordering Sheriff to move when aiming down sights will no longer cause the player to exit ADS.
- HP of enemy Sheriffs will now be visible when attacking them.
- Added a visual effect for when Sheriff receives attacks.
- Increased Sheriff's recovery speed when it is not in combat.
2. Adjusted the Tactical Skill - Sentinel Alert
Optimized the skill's performance when in preview mode.
3. Adjusted the Ultimate - Bite Mode
Increased Sheriff's missile damage when in Bite Mode.

3. Added visual feedback on the crosshair when hitting a Summon.
4. Attacking a Summon now grants Hero XP.
5. Optimized the visuals of the throwing preview when using throwables.
▌Weapon Updates
We have always been committed to improving the Weapon experience in the game, allowing each weapon, like heroes, to showcase their unique roles and use cases. In this update, we're further fine-tuning recoil to provide stronger feedback.
Weapon damage will also be adjusted in the following ways:
Shotgun’s damage was nerfed a bit too much last time, and we're rebuffing them a bit.
Headshot damage of sniper rifles like Bar 95 and Starwind will be increased, so that there will be a clearer distinction from automatic rifles equipped with high scopes.
Furthermore, the performance of AK, Mad Rat, and MF181 seemed a bit too strong, so their single-shot damage will be reduced.
Rhino weapon will be temporarily removed because seems a bit difficult to counter under the current combat system.
We'll closely monitor these adjustments, aiming to provide a relatively balanced gaming environment.

▌Ranked Matches Updates
As we shared in version 2.2 "What's Next," making each season last for three months is an attempt to provide richer season rewards and more sustained challenges, including clearer and more integrated seasonal tasks.
However, we've noticed that although adjustments were made to the season and task systems, the unchanged ranking mode allowed many players to quickly reach their desired ranks, deviating from our original goals and causing a loss of motivation mid-season. Therefore, the development team hopes to provide some buffering with these changes to ranked matches:
1. Tier information from the Debut season has been reset.
2. Tier rewards from the Debut season have been reset. You can now claim even more Farlight Coins from ranked matches.
3. Leaderboards have been reset.
In subsequent versions, the ranking system will continue to be adjusted to provide higher quality matches for all player types through a more prolonged, relaxed, and continuous pursuit of ranks. Veteran players will meet opponents and teammates of similar skill levels, and less competitive players can also reach higher ranks by staying active, with more rewards being crucial!
Of course, you will be notified in advance through "What's Next" or other means so that everyone can better plan their game time.
Finally, the "Debut" season will not end with version 2.3, so don't worry: you will still have ample time to complete the tasks within the season and obtain rewards. Season Data (including Season Memory) will also be retained.
