The introduction of Grogu with The Mandalorian marks the first of a new type of cosmetic: Companions!
Companions appear slightly faded into the background similar to Sidekicks, but they also follow the player’s Legend around the Map and react in real time to the events of the match.
Companions also have a mind of their own. They don’t always react to the same actions the same way each time!
For match readability:
- If there are more than 4 players in the game, other players’ Companions may not be visible.
- With 5 to 6 players, a maximum of 3 Companions will be visible, prioritizing you and your team’s Companions.
- With 7, only your Companion is visible
- With 8 players, no Companions are visible.
- Note: We are aware that spectators are not currently able to see Companions. We are targeting a future patch for a fix.
