We are listening extremely closely to community feedback, but as we make sweeping changes, there may be still players who have unique cases that need special care.

If even after installing the last three technical patches, you are still experiencing crashes, freezes, and black screens, we need specific files from your computer to find direct solutions for your problems.

???? Bugs & Technical Improvements


  • Multiple Crash Fixes.
  • Significantly reduced the likelihood of our NPC Cars bouncing around randomly.
  • Cars will no longer crash into Callout Scenes.
  • Fixed a bug where the driving camera snaps back after a manual reset.
  • Fixed several Instances where patient’s arms would clip into their sides.
  • Fixed Several Visual Issues with our Callout Assets.
  • Fixed Several Visual Issues with our World Assets.
  • Fixed Several Issues where patient’s arms would be twisted.
  • Fixed a Bug where you could get stuck on the First Shift.
  • Fixed several markings on the highway which were pointing in the wrong direction.
  • Fixed flickering UI.
  • Removed several invisible Barriers.
  • Fixed a Bug in the Introductory Shift where the Partner refused to exit the Ambulance.
  • Removed Hospital Markers that are in locked districts.
  • Reduced the odds of the stretcher getting stuck on the Ambulance Door.
  • Fixed the Parking Assist Sounds.
  • The patient Protocol Body Temperate will now always correctly be in the unit that the player has selected.
  • Deactivated another Cactus collision. (lol)
  • Fixed a wrong icon being shown upon unlocking the glucometer.
  • Fixed build ID showing twice in the splash screen.
  • Fixed a flaw in the parking validation and adjusted the colliders on the ambulances.
  • Fixed white placeholder Icons.
  • Fixed flickering Skid Marks.
  • Fixed Anamnesis Camera Positions in Catastrophic Event 01 [spoiler](The Freeway Catastrophe)[/spoiler].
  • Fixed several floating Assets.
  • Fixed floating stretcher in Cutscenes.
  • Fixed the Lighting in the Customization Scene.
  • Fixed further Glass Visuals in Catastrophic Event 02 [spoiler](The Burning Mall)[/spoiler].
  • Fixed Railings Visuals in Catastrophic Event 02 [spoiler](The Burning Mall)[/spoiler].
  • Improved performance on Lower Graphics Settings.
  • Added an automatic HDD/SSD detection.
  • More PSO Caching: Reduced the amount of lag spikes, especially on High and Ultra Settings. This will cause the initial loading screen after downloading the patch for the first time to be a bit longer.
  • Significantly Improved overall Visuals through due to the activation of Ambient Occlusion and Global Illumination (Also for Consoles):
  • BEFORE UPDATE (High Graphics settings)

  • Enabled traffic density setting on consoles.
  • Enabled video settings tab on consoles to be able to tune the following Settings:

  • Selected Tools will no longer remain in your hand and clip through the screen when opening the patient Protocol.
  • Disabled NVidia Frame Generation by default to prevent UI artifacts and screen tearing. These can be re-enabled for a performance Boost!
  • Enabled text wrapping in several handbook elements.[/list]
  • ???? Quality of Life Improvements


    • Removed duplicate Evidence from the Handbook
    • Added some additional Feedback for when Patients went into Ventricular Fibrillation:
    • Simulation Mode will now additionally deactivate the following guidance Features:

    • The patient Protocol will no longer directly tell you which clues point to which Diagnosis Options by providing red/green ratings.
    • The Recommended Treatment steps after selecting a Diagnosis will no longer be shown in the Treatment HUD.
    • Players will no longer be able to load the Last Checkpoint after going Game Over.
    [*] Balanced the Callout Director to more evenly distribute our different callouts.
  • Reduced maximum waiting time for next callout from 50s to 30s.
  • Switching patient from a police officer to a homeless person in training callout 03.
  • Added an automatic Discovery for very close patients.
  • Catastrophic Events will now Trigger even when approached from the wrong side.
  • Increased the Odds of Preexisting Conditions to appear on patients.
  • Increased the maximum Output of the Thermostat to 98°F/37°C.
  • Patients will now change their skin color a bit more slowly when their body temperature changes.
  • Slightly reduced patient’s base blood sugar consumption.
  • Added an Option to Invert X and Invert Y Axis.
  • Added Advanced Tooltips to our Tools which briefly summarize their effect:


  • Added a Reset to Default Button to our menus.
  • Added additional Player Guidance Recommendations to the Callout Overview UI.
  • We will now Highlight Life Saving measures if appropriate Evidence has been discovered.[/list]
  • ???? Known Issues


    • Scoring Screen may not be initialized properly after a Tutorial Mission.
    • Switching between different menus in the Customization Settings may temporarily remove hair from characters.
