As you may have experienced recently, the Mystic 1.1 Update and subsequent Hotfix have not been as stable as we wanted them to be. We apologize for this and we will aim to do better in the future! Today’s Mystic 1.2 Update addresses the majority of crashes that have been reported as well as some issues in AI Behaviour.
As it stands, there is more work to be done. We are planning a Mystic 1.3 Update with which we aim to address lingering issues as well as some of the balance feedback we’ve received. It’s key that we take our time for this, so no date has been set yet.

AI
- Changed AI behavior to avoid/assign lower priority to provinces that have hostile effects (Gloom, Hostile Seas)
- Fixed a crash that could occur in the AIAttack Mission
- Fixed a hang that could occur during the AI Turn processing
- Fixed a issue where the AI was not able to Pillage Provinces
Art
- Fixed an issue where the ruler was not correctly positioned on the mount and didn’t hold its weapon correctly on "Victory" screen
- Fixed an issue where the "Staff of Frost" did not have a model when the hero unit had the "Naga Form" or "Gloom Strider" major race transformations active
- Fixed an issue where Umbral Thrall Heroes did not hold Staves correctly
- Fixed an issue where the skirt of the "Pursuer" unit appeared stretched when the "Naga Form" major race transformation was active
- Fixed an issue where Astral Attunement caused Constrictors to have very transparent arms
- Fixed an issue where the Chaplain's staff was inside his body instead of being held
Audio
- Fixed an issue where various Stepland SFX did not trigger for Umbral Demons during Combat
- Fixed an issue where Horse Stepland SFX would trigger twice
- Fixed an issue where the Raptor Stepland SFX was incorrect
Combat
- Fixed an issue where "Boon Stealing" was able to steal active abilities, hidden buffs and more.
- Fixed an issue where the damage preview for the "Impale" ability would show the damage affected by "Defense" even though the ability ignores the "Defense"
Diplomacy
- Fixed an issue where Magic Material Treaties would incorrectly count the number of Magic Material Treaties if more than 1 existed.
- Fixed an issue where a penalty of -25 relation with Umbral Dwellings was received when declaring an unjustified war to any other empire
Events
- Fixed a crash that could occur when a Quest selected an empty cell on a different map layer that had no province.
Factions
- Fixed several issues related to the Gender Identification of Dragon Lord & Eldritch Sovereign Titles.
- Fixed an issue where the Ruler Description for Eldritch Rulers would use the Dragon Lord Description when in the Edit Appearance screen while in-game.
- Fixed an issue where Vaneyra and Xandera were not assigned Mystic Subcultures
- Fixed an issue where Custom Mystic Rulers did not get their Subculture Tome assigned
- Fixed an issue where Ascended Mystic Rulers were not correctly upgraded to the Attunement Subculture
- Fixed an issue where Gifted Casters did not filter for Combat Summons
- Fixed an issue where the Mystic Summoner “Astral Bond” did not have a Cooldown

- Fixed an issue where the Portent of Rousing Cosmic Happening would incorrectly increase knowledge income.
- Fixed an issue where the Sunstruck Eruptions Cosmic Happening would remove all desolate provinces before the Aftermath event appears

World Map
- Fixed a crash that could occur due to Conditional Resources not being cleaned up correctly
- Fixed a crash that could occur when a Global Teleporter (Underground Passage/Umbral Gate) did not have a destination
- Fixed a issue where Global Teleporters were still assigned a destination when they didn’t have one
- Fixed an issue where Ancient Wonders would not resolve correctly if Umbral Exile was used on a defender
- Fixed an issue where migrating a City would not correctly pass on Unit Tier Unlocks.
- Fixed an issue where Beacons of Unity could be pillaged regularly. This would cause the VC to not cancel and allow them to be pillaged again.
- Fixed an issue where saving & loading while having 3 Beacons of Unity build, would allow you to build more Beacons.
