We continue to improve Homebound based on the feedback we've been receiving since release and this latest patch is a BIG one!
Some of the most noticable changes are improvements to the gripping system as well as interactable objects now being highlighted when in proximity. We've also created new on-screen effects for better clarity and added a new surprise in the crash sequence <3. You can read the full changelist below:
Update 1.0.6.0
- Player should no longer be able to collide with held objects
- Objects should much less frequently shoot off in high speed when flying into them
- Bug causing player to drop item in one hand when releasing item held in another fixed
- Added two more floppy disks, which should make finding 6 easier
- Bug causing held items to stop simulating physics should now be fixed
- More batteries for radio added
- Batteries should no longer collide with player body, making grabbing easier
- Collision model for floppy disks is now larger, making both grabbing and inserting into drive easier
- Chips can no longer be triggered an unlimited amount of times
- Interactable objects are now outlined/highlighted when in proximity
- Fullscreen effect indicating oxygen depletion added
- MEL's scanning cone should intersect with player and geometry much less noticably
- Helmet HUD moved up slightly, improving readability
- Escape pod no longer gets an objective marker - improving readability
- Additional voiceover added
- Added a little surprise at the end <3
