Again I have to thank you all for your incredible feedback. I cannot begin to thank you for all the kind words, feedback and critique. Already having a community so invested in helping make Homebound the best experience it can be is incredibly humbling and inspiring.
Despite thorough beta testing, both internally and externally, one can never be truly prepared for what happens in the wild. Working from the feedback we've received since release we've uploaded an update which focuses on audio, story progression and general user experience. You can view the full changelist below.
- Audio volume should now be more comfortable
- Audio clipping should be much less frequently occuring
- Gamepad turn speed lowered to a more comfortable speed
- Mipmapping of 'Escape Pod' label reduced for make it more readable on lower settings
- Camera shake after explosion is now less intense, reducing risk of motion sickness
- Made physical assets "brake" less, allowing them to fly further
- Players should no longer be able to get stuck between 'The Crib's' door and wall when opening it
- Grabbing the door handle on 'The Crib's' door should now be much easier
- Added instructions on how to open The Crib's door
- Made helmet HUD indicators sharper on lower graphics settings
- Made credits screen sharper on lower graphics settings
- Player hands should no longer turn visible in Atmosphere level
- Optimized lighting in space station
- Freeroam controls should now be working correctly
- Storyline progression revised
