We're excited to announce Patch 1.5.1! Send and receive trade offers by using our new in-game trading system, now set-up for cross-platform trading once Witch It releases on consoles later this year. View your inventory in-game, try our new aim-assist for gamepads, and witness improved performance on older PC's. Read on! ????
Everything You Need To Know About In-Game Trading:
Enable Public Inventory
In order to receive trade offers, you must first toggle your Witch It account settings to ensure your inventory is visible. To find your account settings, press on your username in the main menu, then press the last tab with the cog icon. Here, you can enable your public inventory:
Our brand-new in-game trading system can be found under "Collection" > "Trading" on our new restructured main menu. ⚙️
On this screen, you will find three options to create trade requests, see pending requests, and view your trade history. ????
Create Trade Request
Press "Create Trade Request" to open a list containing all your Witch It friends. ????
To initiate a trade request, press the handshake icon corresponding with the friend you wish to trade with. In the future, we will add a way for you to trade with non-friends, too!
Select items to trade from your inventory by clicking on them under the "Mine" tab. You can see the active trade offer to the right, and if you want to remove an item just click on it in the offer!
Select items from their inventory by clicking on them under the "Theirs" tab. Once you're ready to send the offer, press "Send Trade Offer" in the bottom right! ✔️
Important Tips:
- If you are trading away the last of an item you own, a warning triangle will appear around the item quantity. Be careful not to trade away any items you wish to keep! ⚠️
- If an item in an offer is traded away elsewhere, all offers containing that item will automatically cancel. Be careful not to trade away identical items in multiple trades! ❌
- Both players do not need to be online in order to receive or accept trade offers - you can send requests to offline players! ????

Pending Trade Requests
Press "Pending Trade Requests" to view all incoming and outgoing trade requests. ????
On the "Incoming" tab, you can see incoming requests, and accept or reject these by pressing the corresponding buttons to the right of the offer.
On the "Outgoing" tab, you can see your outgoing requests. Cancel a request by pressing the corresponding button to the right of the offer.
Incoming trading requests will also appear as notifications in-game! ????
Trade History
Press "Trade History" to view a detailed list of all your previous trades.
Each trade shows the name and icon of the player you were trading with, a timestamp of the trade, whether it was an incoming or outgoing trade, and the status of the trade. Clicking on a trade will allow you to see what items were swapped, in case you need a quick reminder! ????
Inventory
View your entire Witch It inventory by pressing on "Collection" > "Inventory". ????
Press the "Filter" button to filter your inventory by type, team, slot, rarity, or duplicates!
Your Steam Inventory is still invisible, as we are still working on solutions for displaying your items without causing issues to our cross-platform system. ????
Aim Assist
Struggling to hit fast-moving witches with your controller? ????
We've now added an aim assist to help you secure those eliminations!
Aim assist does not work with mouse and keyboard - only gamepads.
Aim assist does not lock onto still transformed props, so don't worry - your hiding spot is safe (probably)!
Portal Effects
We've mixed together the finest and rarest ingredients into our portal fluid, releasing a satisfying burst of particles whenever you travel through them! ????
