We are looking to add 3 pieces of community art to our upcoming content update: Dreamland! ✨
Entrants will compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place judged by Barrel Roll Games and the Community Staff team.
???? 1st Place - Your artwork will be placed in a gold frame and implemented as a playable prop!
???? 2nd Place - Your artwork will be placed in a silver frame and implemented as a playable prop!
???? 3rd Place - Your artwork will be placed in a bronze frame and implemented as a playable prop!
Each winner will also receive a Witch It key to be redeemed on Steam! ????

???? How do I participate?
1️⃣ Pick whether you want a horizontal frame, or vertical frame.
You must create your art in the 8:5/5:8 aspect resolution. Here's our guidelines:
If you're creating artwork for a horizontal frame: 2560px x 1600px, 1920px x 1200px or 1280px x 800px.
If you're creating artwork for a vertical frame: 1600px x 2560px, 1200px x 1920px or 800px x 1280px.
2️⃣ Design your artwork and export it, ensuring you follow the rules below!
3️⃣ Upload your entry as a .png or .jpg image to #art-entries on our Discord server, or post your artwork underneath this Steam announcement!
You are allowed to name your artwork, but please note that we may change their names if used.
???? Rules [Important!]
- Your artwork must relate to Witch It in some form.
- You must submit your artwork in the 8:5 or 5:8 aspect ratio (please see our guidelines above). If you win, your artwork will be downscaled to 128 x 80 or 80 x 128 based on Witch It's prop constraints, so please be mindful when adding intricate details - they might not appear in-game!
- You must own all elements of your art. Do not use (or commission) pictures or elements created by other people (Witch It content is fine to use)!
- Entry file format must be .png or .jpg.
- Your entry must follow our rules - no offensive content!
- Make sure your artwork fits the art style of Witch It.
- You can submit 2 entries maximum - but your second entry must be in a different resolution (for example, if you submitted a vertical painting, you can only create a horizontal painting next)!
- All users can enter, including previous contest winners and community staff.
- You can collaborate with other entrants if you wish, but be aware that this will count as an entry for all artists involved. Please list all collaborators alongside your entry!
???? Breaking these rules may result in disqualification from the contest!

Absolutely no full or partial AI-generated artwork is allowed to be submitted for this contest.
We may ask you for proof of creation, such as a layered file or progress pictures. If you can't provide at least one of these on request, your entry will be void. ⚠️
