"It's urgent," they said.

"You are on a list of people authorised by the government to see this," they pressed an envelope into my hands and shoved me into the car.

The next moment I was on a plane to someplace. I couldn't see much more than that. The images were sensational, a testimony to ancient cultures. Kebaria, Neolithic, maybe even older? Plus, more recent. Ancient Aramaic, Sumerian, hieroglyphics from the New Kingdom. Who collected this and for what purpose? One text began with "I waded through a sea of blood..."

What happened there? What is waiting for me? And why me?
