Patch notes for build: 0.5.9.8.4
- Added server password encryption
- Added login password when hosting a server [olist]
- The Server can set a login password when hosting a server
- The Client must set this password in the server search menu before joining the server if the server has set a login password
- When the Client tries to join and the login password is incorrect the connection is rejected and the Client is instantly kicked from the server [/olist]
Explanation of the Login Password setting:
1. The Host sets a SERVER PASSWORD as usual (ABC).
2. The Host can also set a LOGIN PASSWORD (123).
3. The Host lets the client know those 2 passwords.
4. The Client will enter the LOGIN PASSWORD (123) in the Server Search menu in the field on top where is written: "Enter Server Join Password".
5. The Client clicks on "Join Server". If a SERVER PASSWORD is set, the client has to enter the SERVER PASSWORD (e.g. ABC) as usual.
The LOGIN PASSWORD is optional.
We hope you have a wonderful week ahead of you. Happy Railroading! ????
