Hello there, what were you doing past week?
How’s the life going? If you ask us, the last week was pretty crazy. After collecting LOT’S OF you guys’ thoughts, we start talking about different adjustments to develop the game. After we settled on some decisions, we began working.And we are still hungry to get more feedback, so please send us the content you created about the game or any kind of text on our Discord server. Hmm, maybe I am talking about the server a lot.
Anyways, so this patch will include lots of quality-of-life adjustments and bug-fixes. This means, no more buildings that you don’t understand (I hope).
We adjusted;
Clarity on some visuals and texts, especially for buildings with downsides so you can understand them better.
Localization so it fits the rules of grammar.
Settings menu.
We partly adjusted the optimization, yet we will work on it way harder this week.
We added;
Wide screen support.
Support to different resolutions.
Ability to change screen mode.
Gameplay timer to the end screen.
We fixed;
Visual bugs.
Some tiny bugs.
Tutorial a little bit.
Some major bugs including the ones factories and round system causes.
Checks messages from Sj(Arda). Oh god, lots of bugs!
What will we do from now on?
We are remaking the tutorial to help it teach more while being more understandable and friendly. Those roofs and parks were too confusing to the fresh players.
Also, did you know that you can use “Q-E”” buttons to change the selected building or “Shift” to speed up the time? Yep. I think you understand what I was trying to tell you now. You can read the codex to get more special information like these.
We are developing optimization and graphical settings to help the game work in a wider area of specs for pcs.
Adding more content to the game! More buildings, more interactions and more bugs eventually. So don’t forget to follow our social media to be informed about “Pile Up!” and its development process. All links for our socials are on our discord server and website.
Well, that was it for today’s patch notes. See you soon! Very, soon.
