On Thursday, February 27, we’ll perform a plot cleaning session on all shards, in order to remove inactive plots.
This will happen during a maintenance, which will start at 10 am UTC and is planned to last about one hour.
Here are the five criteria a plot must fulfill to be considered inactive - all criteria must be met:
- Player inactivity: The player who owns the plot has not logged in any of their characters in the past 28 days (on the day of the maintenance).
- Building Pieces: The plot contains fewer than 20 building pieces.
- Chests: The plot has fewer than 7 chests.
- Crafters: The plot has fewer than 7 crafters.
- Market Stalls: The plot has no Market Stall on it.
While these thresholds are set conservatively, this cleanup should help free up a significant number of plots across all shards. However, please note that the effect may not be very noticeable in some of the most popular and, per se, overcrowded areas.
Please note that we are looking into implementing an automated process in order to clean inactive plots on a more regular basis. We will keep you informed on that topic as soon as possible.
Pax vobiscum,
The Mainframe Team
