Playtest for Necrosmith 2 is over! Here’s something we want to share with you to keep you updated on how things are going.
First things first, thank you for your activity, support, and patience during the playtest! We never paused the work, that’s why we've already implemented plenty of changes into the game based on your feedback. Here’s a part of them that will be available in the upcoming demo:
- Added islands, a new feature that will guide you to new areas with unique environments, body parts, and enemies.
- Added more control settings for units. Now, the player can command their army to ‘return to the tower’ and ‘patrol assigned territory’. Also, we split the orders ‘attack the enemy’ and ‘attack the enemies’ nest’.
- Added mountains and ranges that will provide you with more tactical opportunities.
- Removed the damage from daylight to friendly units. Walk freely under the sun!
- Removed the exhausting of resource generators. If you’ve captured one, they’ll no longer run out of resources.
- Overhauled the titan creation window. Now it looks clearer and more epic.
- Overhauled the graphics of all water surfaces.
- Overhauled the world generation system. Now, the start of each new run will be more interesting and varied.
- Improved the AI of enemy units.
- Increased the speed of units.
This is just a part of the changes we've finished until the present moment, and we are still working on implementing more content and features. You can try out all the novelties in the demo, which will be a part of the Steam Next Fest next month. Thank you once again, necromancers.
