Update 1.0 - Patch Notes
Issues that were RESOLVED with the update:
The most important fixes:
- Problems connected to auto-assigning soldiers on the locomotive, including: - Soldiers being forced to be left behind at the end of the chapter. - Soldiers changing their combat roles (such as grenadier) to non-combat roles (such as engineer). - Inability to assign the affected idle soldiers to any task (soldiers were greyed out in the soldiers’ overview).
- Recurring crashes to the desktop after a few minutes of gameplay related to having SteamVR on. (Note: The issue is fixed, but we still recommend disconnecting VR headset when playing Last Train Home.)
- Missing/disappearing User Interface elements (Edit Squad button, Train Upgrades, etc.)
Mission-related fixes:
- ‘Talk to the villagers’ quest in the Baikalovo mission that was not triggering correctly.
- Unfinishable quests in the Irkutsk mission (Note: The issue was fixed, but this mission needs to be replayed if you have experienced issues).
- ‘Clear the area’ quest in the Novonikolayevsk mission that was not triggering as expected. (Note: The issue was fixed, but this mission needs to be replayed if you have experienced issues).
Soldiers-related fixes:
- Throwing actions (throwing grenades, smoke bombs, etc.) now work properly even when the soldier is outside of the screen.
Other tweaks:
- The possibility to quit the game without saving it was added (new buttons in the Pause Menu).
- Another ‘Save Game’ button was added to the Pause Menu (to complement the Quick Save feature).
