News Liste KartRider: Drift
Hello Racers,
I'd like to thank everyone for patiently awaiting the next update. We hope to shake things up in KartRider: Drift with the RISE update on Wednesday, February 14 (PT), and I'd like to share the key features coming in this update.
The focus of this update is on Variety and Persistence.
When it comes to variety, this update has new Kart balancing, as well as changes to Item Mode based on character skills. Our hope is that you enjoy experimenting with track-specific builds based on the performance of different Karts in Speed Mode, and discovering new strategies that take advantage of each character's unique skills in Item Mode.
For persistence, we're getting rid of the Seasonal system to minimize the gaps between content updates, such as the Off-Season, so that our Racers can enjoy KartRider: Drift without interruption. We know that there's been frustration caused by having so much content tied to each Season, and we're hoping to improve that by removing Seasons altogether.
In addition, we're adding new systems and UI elements such as the Ranked Queue, Continuous Matching, and the Chat system. There are also new convenience features such as toggling your balloon on or off, and new camera settings that let you adjust the sense of speed you feel on the track.
Lastly, we'll be showcasing a special collaboration with a legendary car manufacturer in the RISE update, so please stay tuned for more details!
We took a close look at the feedback from our Racers as we prepared this update, as well as your reactions to the Sneak Preview posts that we've shared the last few weeks. While we still have a long way to go, we’ve done our best to incorporate as much of your feedback as possible into this update.
With the February 14 (PT) RISE update, we're building on the core elements of the original KartRider and fusing them with new ideas to bring out the best of what KartRider has always been about. We deeply regret any shortcomings you've experienced since KartRider: Drift launched last year, and we've worked hard to make a better game for you to enjoy in the future.
We sincerely hope that you're excited for the RISE update on February 14 (PT), and thank you all again for waiting patiently.
Thank you,
