Ghastly presences aside, your job as a renovator is well... to renovate. When ghosts are taken care of, there is much more down-to-earth stuff to do. Fixing things is your main concern, and you must fix them well!
But how does the fixing process look? Below you will find two examples of common renovating tasks, which allow you to get an idea of how fixing stuff will look in-game.
Fixing the fixer-upper
You can shop for new furniture if you want to bring some changes around, but fixing old ones is an affordable option - and it keeps the atmosphere of the location as it was before the paranormal took over!
You will also have to repair some of the surfaces, for instance the damaged floors. You can expect a lot of such fixes to be done, as the state of flooring may be awful. After all, those houses stood empty sometimes for decades. No one walked these halls except ghosts and such intangible apparitions are not bothered by the floors being unwalkable to mortals!
Please remember that the presented animations may be subject to change, as we are hard at work to make fixing everything around fun and good-looking!
