We're almost there! We hope you are as excited as we are for the full launch of Fade to Silence on April 30th when you finally get to experience the whole story of Ash!
In preparation for the launch, we just pushed a tiny update to Steam.
In case you have previously fiddled around with your game files (yes, you, I'm looking at you!), you may encounter an issue that prevents you from starting the game. In that case, take these steps to resolve the situation:
- Go to your Library of Installed Games
- Right-Click on Fade to Silence
- Click Properties at the bottom of the pop-up
- Navigate to the "Local Files" tab in the Properties Window
- Click on "Verify Integrity Of Game Files"
You should now be able to start the game up as usual. If this does not resolve the issue, you will have to re-install Fade to Silence.
You might also notice that some hidden achievements have appeared in the wild! Prepare to be able to unlock these when the final release hits!
