First of all, we want to thank you for the continuous feedback we are getting on DRIFT21/CE. We have been looking at it closely to bring fixes, improvements, and new content as we reasonably can.
After the release of DRIFTCE on consoles we were able to bring the Haruna track to Steam as well as a set of optimizations and bug fixes.
Now that we are at the same point on all platforms we want to disclose a roadmap of potential updates for the game. Please, note this roadmap is not set in stone. While we are already working in all these areas, dates and content may vary depending on the development process and player feedback.
AUGUST – Summer Trip Free Update
It’s vacation time! And you’ll need some extra storage room to drive your stuff to your summer retreat. Get your trailer, install your roof box and learn how to drift with it in a series of challenges.
OCTOBER – Steam Deck and Driving Wheels Free Update
This will be a technical update to fulfill the Steam community request to optimize the game for the Steam deck and include additional Driving Wheel support.
DECEMBER
An exciting new racing track with challenges.
EARLY 2024
Licensed cars with customizable parts.
To ease communication through all current (and maybe future) platforms we are planning to re-brand the Steam Game as DRIFTCE (DRIFT Challenger Edition) in an effort to keep as much parity as possible. This shall not affect players’ progress as we will just update the game name on the Steam library, art on the store and-in game logos.
As we advance through the year, we will be able to provide additional information on the upcoming content.
Stay cool and drift on!
