One of the biggest complaints we have about DF2 is that we don't have many base zombie types. In 2025 we are going to be addressing this by massively expanding our pool of zombies. We're looking to add a whole range of new zombies types including: casual, police, nurse/doctor, soldier, cultist, decayed and more. Each of these will have both genders, multiple head types and clothing variations (on top of all the normal elemental and mutated versions). Here is a few early concept sketches by Milen Kaluchev and some screenshots of the first model by Dobrin Rusenov. I will share more images with you as we progress with these designs.
Main Story
Anklast has been very busy working on our main storyline for more than a year already. I am happy to report that he is getting close to completion and we hoping to have this released in the early part of next year. This story will move Dead Frontier 2 away from just being a sandbox style MMO and add a lot more depth and complexity to the game world.
We are also planning to add several new building types and a hardcore rogue-like game mode in the early part of next year. Watch this space!
