THE DARKSBURG CLOSED BETA HAS BEGUN!
If you haven’t yet received an invite, fret not, we will be inviting people in waves over the next couple of months with the intention of eventually inviting everyone who has applied to participate.
The goal of this CLOSED BETA is to work alongside you all to identify key issues, improve core gameplay, test online functionality and refine the overall Darksburg experience ready for its release in February 2020.
Here’s a quick overview of what is included in the initial Beta build:
- 4 Survivors (Varag, Runolf, Rose, Abigail)
- 5 Revenants (Executioner, Burning Witch, Brute, Raven Master, Fishmonger)
- 1 Boss
- 3 Survival Maps (Co-Op + PvP) : Harbor, Marketplace, Faubourg.
- 1 Last Stand Map (Co-Op) : The Belvedere.
As a Beta participant, we ask you to sign up to our official Discord server (where you will also be able to interact with the developers and other beta participants) and to submit any bugs, issues or feedback that will aid us in Darksburgs ongoing development through our online bug report form.
Throughout the beta we will be hosting numerous cool community events such as dev battles, screenshot competitions, easter egg hunts and more, so keep an eye on our Discord channel to stay abreast of all the Beta events as they happen.
We will also be hosting regular objectives on Discord for our players to carry out and while they are optional, they are designed to help us identify and improve various aspects of the game, so your participation in these challenges would be greatly appreciated!
Please note that inactivity or limited feedback may result in access to the Closed Beta being revoked.
This Beta will initially only included a limited number of game modes, characters and maps, however over the course of the Beta we will be introducing new content periodically for you guys to try out as we continue to develop towards release.
