We have some news for you concerning our latest update. We patched the Open Beta to bring in a few changes we would like to let you know about.
In order to implement the patch, we will restart the servers within the next half hour. You will receive a slightly buggy-looking message, which will be fixed within this patch.
Once you receive the message, please be aware that it will take about 5 minutes for the server to fully shut down. After that, please log out of the game entirely and download the update from Steam, which by that time should be available for you.
Here are the key changes brought in by this update:
- The Flux recipe got moved from the Expertise Alchemy to Smelting Expertise.
- We’ve fixed the visuals for the server restart message, so it’s now displaying the correct time.
- We have fixed errors that caused crashes, time-outs, and backend-related issues.
- We adjusted the audio for the market theme in Coreheim.
- We've patched up holes in the ground and fine-tuned resource distribution on the map.
- Health regeneration got increased for early food recipes.
- We adjusted the timings for town attack preparation: 7-minute preparation phase, with 5 minutes for building and 2 minutes for no building.
- We’ve improved the drop rates for mystery bags from hunting
- We also decreased drop rates for mystery bags from wood & gathering
- The tavern in Pipers Whistle got a few visual fixes.
- We have added a fix for combat where players got stuck in the heavy hit animation
- The coloring of essence requirements in the town window got changed.
- Various landscape fixes have been made, including addressing holes in the ground and foliage issues.
- Our Molians finally got their idle animation!
- The F1 help menu content has been updated to provide even more specific and helpful information.
