When we came to Kickstarter to make Wasteland 2 back in 2012, our backers provided us a unique opportunity to bring about the return of classic-style RPGs. In addition to backers, those of you who directly purchased the game here on Steam contributed enormously to creating and supporting our making more RPGs. We want to extend thanks to not just backers, but our Steam audience and fan community as well.
Wasteland 2 isn't the only game we've crowdfunded and released. Our second title, Torment: Tides of Numenera, was Kickstarted in 2013, and was released earlier this year. We have been absolutely thrilled with the reception, with a great Metacritic score and tons of positive comments from RPG fans who have enjoyed this deep, story-driven experience.

Torment will only continue to get better. In addition to patches, we’ll also be adding a new companion, Oom, an in-game encyclopedia in the form of the Voluminous Codex, and other tweaks and enhancements, in a future content update. This content will be free to all owners of the game.
