The Matchmaking update is now live, this includes numerous tweaks changes and improvements designed to better your online experience with Warhammer: Chaosbane.
We've also got some other tweaks, changes, and fixes (including the removal of infinite potion Vollen), so read on for the full notes.

New features and improvements
- Matchmaking system modified and game type in public mode added
- Manage Players menu modified
- New players appear next to the player when added via the ‘Manage Players’ menu
- Online players now shown in the interface
- New text and translations have been added
- Character no longer moves when clicking a button in the interface
Balancing
General
- Enemy targeting area adjusted
- Elite enemies loot lists modified
- Invasion mode semi-bosses 02 and 06 adjusted
- Secondary objective rewards modified
- Controller vibrations have been removed for status damage effects (poison, fire, etc.)
- Description corrected for the set The Impetuous One's Armour:[list]
- Burning enemies take more damage.
God Skill Tree
- Armor bonuses increased for all characters
- Critical hits bonuses increased for all characters
- Special bonuses increased for all characters
General skills
- Correction to Veteran's Chain Reaction skill
- Scout's Chain Reaction provides a better movement speed increase
- Duelist's Chain Reaction provides a better critical hit damage increase
Vollen
- Slice damages are increased. The hit radius has also been increased.
- Shielded Charge deals more damages and slows enemies
- Sigmar's Blessing provides a bonus that lasts longer
- Sigmar's Wrath’s collision zone has been reduced
Elontir
- Arcane Manifestation particle effects have been slowed down
- Arcane Hail burn effect removed
- Phantom Blade knockback reduced, but has a wider hitbox
- Phantom Blade – Mastered reduces damages taken while attacking
- Blinding Light costs more Energy but deals more damage
- Blinding Light – Superior costs more energy, burn and slow have been removed, but damage dealt has been increased.
- Blinding Light – Mastered costs more energy, generates less health, but deals more damage
- Breath of Fire – Superior has been modified: Send forth a blast of fire that damages, burns and taunts enemies.
- Aetheric Vortex now costs more energy
- Aether Blast costs more energy and burn effect has been removed
- Aetheric Storm has a longer cooldown but deals more damage
- Reading the Aether – Mastered: the damage boost while using Aether Handling are lowered, but now the skill reduces damage taken
Elessa
- Living Roots deals less damage but traps now stay indefinitely
- Hungry Roots deals more damage
- Hungry Roots – Superior has been modified:[list]
- Lay a persistent trap on the ground that triggers when an enemy approaches it. Enemies hit are damaged and slowed. All players are granted a damage reduction bonus each time an enemy is hit by the trap. Only one trap of this type can be laid at a time.
- Lay a persistent poison trap on the ground that triggers when an enemy approaches it. Enemies hit are damaged, poisoned and slowed. Only one trap of this type can be laid at a time.
- Traps deal more damage to slowed enemies.

Bragi
- Taunt effect added to Whirlwind of Blades
- Scythe and Scythe – Superior hitboxes have been increased

- Throw a spinning axe that has a chance to slow down enemies. Enemies who are bleeding suffer more damage.
Wood Elf Scout’s Equipment
- The Symbiosis arc bonuses have been increased
- The Executors daggers bonuses have been increased
- The Tireless Guardians daggers bonuses have been increased
- The Debt of the Eternal Queen equipment bonuses have been increased
- The Starlight Armour equipment set bonuses have been increased
General Equipment
- Old Ring of Resonance physical damage dealt increased
- Old Ring of Dexterity bonuses have been increased
- Old Ring of Shadow dodge bonus increased
- Potion cooldown reduction effect of the Enchanted Jade Medal, Phoenix Amulet, Pendant of the Rebel, and Spring Talisman necklaces has been lowered
Nurgle’s NPC

- Kessler’s aura now increases damages taken instead of slowing
Slaanesh’s NPC
- New Invasion’s semi-boss: Skraeling
- Attraction skill cooldown for the Daemonettes Herald and Chaosspawn has been increased
- Pincer snap hitbox of the Chaosspawn has been decreased. Bleed duration has also been decreased.
Bug fixes
- Chest positions corrected at the end of Relic Hunt levels
- Cost reduction and cooldown statistic capped at 80%
- Invasion mode passive skill Veteran's Chain Reaction fixed
- Persistent collision problems with Elessa's traps fixed
- Various multiplayer issues fixed
- Problem with Invasion menu getting blocked with a controller fixed
- Elontir's tornado collisions fixed
- Cooldown reduction effect for potions have been removed
- New statistics related to potions have been added
- God skills are unequipped automatically after resetting the God Skill Tree
- Endgame level randomness improved
- Resolution detection method changed. This fixes a problem where some resolutions were not found for certain players. Important: for this fix, graphics options will be reset for all players when the patch is applied
